what if a product is out of stock?

although all products are made to order, the collections are made by hand in small batches and limited quantity. we only make candles that we know we can sell, ensuring there is no waste. our candles are made with beeswax that is sourced from local bee farms and all natural dyes + scents that aren't always readily available. our goal is to create slow art that is meaningful and intentional, while respecting Mother Earth's natural process. you can always sign up for our newsletter, so you'll be the first to know when we restock.

why beeswax and coconut apricot wax over paraffin wax?

paraffin offers no benefits and is harmful to our health as well as Mother Earth. it is made from petroleum, emits harmful gases, not biodegradable, increased co2 emissions, emits black soot, and worst of all has carcinogen compounds (cancer causing agents).

on the other hand, beeswax is natural, clean, lasts longer, has no harmful chemicals and naturally purifies air by producing negative ions which attach to positive ions like dust, pollen, mold odor and toxins floating in the air. plus it emits a bright, warm toned flame within the same spectrum as the sun. our custom coconut apricot wax is also non-toxic, natural, biodegradable, eco-friendly, renewable, emits close to zero soot and has one of the longest burn times.

why don't you use essential oils?

essential oils do not perform well in beeswax leaving the candle with an inconsistent scent throw. more importantly, most essential oils are not candle-grade and can become toxic when heated to high temperatures.  i chose to use high quality non-toxic clean scents which go through rigorous testing standards and are regulated for safety by the IFRA (International Fragrance Association). these scents are also in compliance with proposition 65 requirements. in addition, they are free from parabens, phthalates, carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins and acute toxins.

how should i burn my candle?

burning instructions: remove packaging before burning. place the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. trim wick to 1/4" each time prior to lighting. never leave your burning candle unattended. avoid exposure to drafts. do not burn candle for more than 1 hour at a time. stop burning candle when 1/2" unmelted wax remains.

how should i remove the crystal from the candle?

please be careful when removing the wrapped crystal from the candle. we suggest for you to burn the candle until wrapped crystal becomes visible. it's very important that you make sure the candle is not lit and the wax no longer hot. do not touch hot wax. melted wax can be extremely hot and cause burning. once wax is solid, remove the crystal with tweezers or a spoon, then unwrap and enjoy.

what can i do with the remnants of my candle?

if you choose to burn your candle, we have two suggestions on what to do with the leftover wax remnants. you can put the remaining wax in a wax burner to get the most out of your candle -or- you can dispose it in your home compost or garden waste bin.
